Readership is Up! 11/19/2009
![]() Today I was checking the stats on this website and discovered that over 135 hits were made yesterday. Granted, it was most likely due to my email reminder to everyone on my E-Letter list, but still, there's been a consistant, but smaller number of visitors throughout the month. Here's two observations: 1) It's a far cry from what we did with the original website and this one is free from Weebly.com. 2) I've noted that there is very little written response to this blog section, the guest book (under "Home" tab) or "Contact Us". I've tried to make this website interactive by adding these three feedback opportunities, but I guess people are using this site for information only. So, that being said, we will try to keep it updated with lots of information so you won't be disappointed when you visit. BTW, thanks to the couple of persons that keep tabs with the grammer, spelling and operating apps and who let me know about it. I admit I'm not perfect, so I appreciate the advice and corrections. I'm glad we are getting more readers coming to the site, because we have a lot to talk about. How about you? Bitter Sweet 11/10/2009
Hey everybody. Just wanted to let you all know that Cindy and I are looking forward to spending the month of November and first week of December with you. We will miss all of you but we are very excited about what the Bridge is doing in Havelock. Rob Rob Helton Leaves Havelock for Shelby, NC 11/05/2009
Obviously, the leaving Rob Helton, leaves a giant gap in the leadership and teaching ministry for The Bridge. I'm glad for Rob and praise God for his leading in Rob's life. I'm glad because he moves on from one place where he's been for 10 full years. After 10 years of service at Cherry Point Baptist and a couple years of involvement with The Bridge's development, I think it's time for others to benefit from his unique leadership style, compassion for the lost and teaching talents. He will be missed here in Havelock, but I trust God enough to send the right person our way. Don't You? ---Ed Baptism Comments 10/19/2009
I thought baptism at the river was absolutely terrific! This baptism is a strong reminder of the vision of the Bridge. We want to witness the complete transformation of our city as people become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Just remember, the transformation happens one person at a time! This is your time! This is your city - your mission field! These are your people! Let's share God's love with them! Cindy and I will be out of town this Sunday. Have a great week! --Rob First Post! 09/23/2009
Hi! I'm Ed, sort of an administrator for The Bridge. I wanted to start this blog off by saying that The Bridge is just starting its journey, much like us. If you have any suggestions, I sure would like to hear from you. If you haven't been to a church in a while, what would bring you back? If you have attended The Bridge, what kind of suggestions do you have to help you to keep coming back? |
